High-frequency matching engine with an order book pairing trucks with loads using Price-Time Priority. Full-duplex WebSockets for live price movements and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for bid invitations.

2. AI-Powered Rate Analytics

AI pricing engine to forecast demand and adjust prices in real time. Supports price floors, rate-of-change limits, and "Book-it-now" upfront rates with historical market context.

3. Mapping & Routing

Dynamic vehicle attribute ingestion: clearance height, gross weight (load-dependent), HazMat class, and axle count. Ensures accurate ETAs and fuel estimates by avoiding restricted infrastructure.

4. DFM & Load Discovery

Carriers search by trailer type, location, and date. Features "Reloads" (backhaul suggestions) near delivery locations to minimize empty miles.

5. Financials & Factoring

Integration with freight factoring (OTR/Triumph). Real-time broker credit checks before booking and automated same-day funding invoice submission.

6. ELD & HOS Integration

Accounts for Hours of Service (HOS) regulatory constraints. Factors drive time into matching and provides alerts for potential rule violations.

7. Transparency & UX

"Landed cost transparency" including duties, taxes, and insurance. Live bid visualizations, countdown timers, and market indices.

8. Settlement Engine

Automated payroll based on trip records. Supports mileage, percentage, or flat fees. Automated deductions and digital document uploads.

Data Design

Architecting a robust data structure to support high-frequency bidding, real-time tracking, and complex financial orchestration.

Detailed breakdown of the core tables required for the next-generation digital freight marketplace.

1. Vehicles / Trucks

Clearance Height: Prevents routing through restricted bridges.

Firebase Admin SDK Key

Download service account JSON from Firebase Console → Project Settings → Service Accounts. Used by Python seed scripts to create users and write Firestore documents.

Firestore Emulator (Local)

Run firebase emulators:start locally to test seed scripts before writing to production Firestore.

Seed Data CSV

Use test_data_loads.csv (200 rows) with the Node.js ingestion script to populate loads collection before testing.
